Taking Time to Breathe
It's almost too simple, but taking a deep breath can make such a huge difference in how you feel. In my practice, during each visit I guide my patients through a few moments of conscious breathing. Eat These Five Spring Vegetables
Spring is the ideal time for body detoxification. Most of the vegetables that grow during this time of year are full of nutrients that energize that cleanse the body. Here are 5 that I love:
Asparagus - chock full of antioxidants that help support the cleansing action of the liver and intestines
Watercress - high in blood purifying antioxidants
Collard greens - anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer, these nutrient dense leaves are high in vitamin C and other liver supporting nutrients.
Dandelion greens - bitter greens that support digestion and detoxification.
Celery -a high fiber,mild diuretic, helping flush out your system while supporting electrolyte balance with high levels of potassium
